Branding is a huge part of your success, whether it’s figuring out how to brand yourself as a creative or how to create within a brands constraints. If you’re a creative just starting out or a seasoned vet looking to boost their image, reviewing and refining your branding is always a good place to start.

Making Brand Guidelines

A brand style guide or brand guidelines is a document that brings together your creative assets: logo, typography, color pallette, brand photography or videography and defines them. For a logo it may go through how to use the logo, how much breathing room it needs, a minimum and maximum size to ensure it remains legible, the works. Essentially, brand guidelines ensures the brand looks, sounds and feels consistent.
