Creating a visual identity for your brand is the first step in attracting the right types of clients for your business. Think back to high school - it would look out of place for a girl in a pastel pink floral shirt to be hanging around a bunch of goth kids. The same applies to your business’ visual identity. Figure out what your ideal client looks like, how they dress, speak and act before you get to designing anything. Designing anything before you’ve got that in mind would be like trying to hit a bullseye with a wet noodle - you’re leaving a lot up to chance.
