Revitalizing a Wedding Brand

After more than 40 years operating as Franklin Square Photographers, the company underwent a major transition that included both a physical relocation and a full rebrand.

The move created an opportunity to modernize the brand identity and reposition the studio for a younger generation of couples while maintaining trust with an established client base.

The result was First Look Photo + Film, a refreshed identity designed to feel more contemporary, flexible, and emotionally aligned with the direction of modern wedding storytelling.

Overview

Franklin Square Photographers had decades of local recognition, but much of the brand identity was closely tied to its physical location and a more traditional era of wedding marketing.
The rebrand needed to:
  • modernize the company’s visual presence
  • create a name independent of location
  • appeal to younger couples entering the wedding market
  • maintain continuity for existing and past clients
  • preserve the trust associated with a long-established business
The transition also needed to work across multiple touchpoints simultaneously, including web, social, email communication, and video delivery.
